Warby St. Physiotherapy, Hydrotherapy
and Spinal Injuries Centre consists
of highly qualified Physiotherapists
aiming to provide accurate assessment,
cost effective expertise and treatment.
This complex concentrates on spinal
injuries with specifically developed
exercise and educational programs.
The
Physiotherapists have extensive experience
working with athletes and sporting teams.
Diana
Ellem was a volunteer Physiotherapist
in the Y2000 Olympic Games, working
with the rowers.
The
staff of the Warby
Back Care and Ergonomic Assessment Unit
provide pre employment physical
screening, work site and ergonomic assessments,
and functional capacity assessments
to ensure a more rapid and successful
return to work, improved work capacity
with a reduced risk of further injury.
The
Warby St Hydrotherapy
Centre's staff provide extensive
and expert Hydrotherapy coverage for
rehabilitation of injured workers, car
accident victims, osteoporosis and arthritis
suffers, pregnant women, joint replacement
patients, and post knee and back surgeries,
neurologically injured, post orthopaedic
surgical conditions, orthopaedic conditions.
Treatments can be individual, class
or "Open Swimming" - for those who wish
to exercise using a program given by
the Physiotherapist.
